The Tulip Chair has been aging since 1958 and it's space-age looks and single form sculpted design has seen it spill into dining rooms all over the planet. Eero Saarinen decided that dining tables and chairs with 4 legs were ugly and sought a solution to this. His experience as a sculptor is evident in the final design of his curvy creation.
Also just like a fine wine our Tulip Chairs are made from high quality ingredients, a durable, glossy plastic seat is mated to a cast aluminum base that's painted to match. The cushion is made from foam and the covers are both removable and machine washable and just like your head after too much wine the Tulip Chair spins 360 degrees, it makes getting in and out of a crowded table a lot easier.
