And why wouldn't you be? This table is one of our flag ship products, our best seller, by far the most popular item we sell. I'm sure you can see why, if you can't then allow me to explain... this replica Tulip Table is made from real Italian Carrara Marble, yes imported from Italy. The grey veins found in this marble really transform any dining room and the large size make them fit for a banquet!
The Tulip or Pedestal series was designed the Eero Saarinen in 1958. Part of an idea to clean up what he saw as the ugly and cluttered world of table and chair legs. His ethos of 'one piece, one material' can be seen in the Tulip design, though not quite one piece or one material it's easy to see the underlying concept.
The tables we sell here are not cheap replicas, the pictures can attest to that but if you're not convinced let me tell you that the base is made from aluminum and not fiberglass like many out there. The tops we've already spoken about but we feel compelled to mention that they are real Carrara Marble from Italy and will last as long as you wish if they are cared for properly.
The only thing left to decide is what size you'll be needing. The smaller 67 x 43" is ideal for 6 chairs with room for 8 at a push whilst the larger 78 x 47" easily fits 8 with room for more when the time calls. Both tables are 29" tall and the matching Tulip Chairs fit perfectly underneath them (and look great!) The chairs can also be found in our store along with discounted sets.
