This Carrara Marble Tulip Table will turn your dining table into a centerpiece, throw on some place mats and back to a dining table! Designed in 1958 a year before the moon landing, the Tulip design typifies that space-age look, a pillar of that 'mid century 'era. Also from a bird's eye view the Marble Tulip Table does look a bit like a moon.
Saarinen's design is ever popular and just like a fine wine has improved with age. Our replica versions follow the same ideals but with a price tag that's easier to handle. This set includes a 47" Carrara Marble Table top, it rests on an aluminum base, the marble is imported from Italy and then polished at our factory. The six Tulip Chairs also use a high quality aluminum base and seats are made from durable, glossy plastic seats. The cushions are foam filled and the covers are both removable and machine washable.
